This package includes an itinerary ideally suited for those looking to discover Greece’s beautiful landscape while immersing themselves in the country's history. Your journey begins in the cosmopolitan capital of Greece which juxtaposes modern urban architecture with monuments from days long past. The half day tour will give you the opportunity to visit the marvel that is Acropolis, an ancient temple perched splendidly above the city. Your exploration continues with an amazing 4 day cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey.

First stop is Mykonos, an island encompassing the Cycladic spirit with whitewashed houses and windmills. The nightlife alone is a source of attraction for visitors from all round the globe. You will then be transported to Kusadasi, one of Turkey's principle holiday resorts and make an excursion to ancient Ephesus. The comes Patmos, a place of incredible religious importance due to the years John the Revelator spend on the island. Continuing south, you reach Rhodes, the place of the strong contrasts between medieval monuments and traditional elements and lacy beaches next to pine covered mountains. Next stop is Heraklion, the largest city in Crete, where you can experience the traditional Cretan lifestyle, the indescribable delicacies found only on the island and the warm hospitality of the locals. The final stop of your cruise before returning to Athens is Santorini, the most popular island in all of Greece. From its wineries, to the volcanic caldera and the golden sunset, Santorini has a million reasons to become a must-see destination for every traveler.

  • Saturday – Arrival in Athens
    Upon arrival you will meet our assistant at the Athens International Airport and be given all the necessary information on your trip. Your driver will then transfer you to your hotel and you will take the day get to know the city at your own pace. Luckily downtown Athens has something for every taste, from the cozy taverns of Plaka to the stylish roof gardens overlooking the Acropolis and everything in between!

  • Sunday – Athens half day sightseeing tour
    After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet our collaborator at the lobby or someplace nearby, to commence the morning half day Athens sightseeing tour. A must for every visitor, it will allow you to take in sites like the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy of Athens, Hadrian's Arch, the Greek Parliament and more in a magnificent tour culminating in a visit to the spectacular Acropolis and its modern Museum.

  • Monday - Cruise embarkation & visit Mykonos 
    In the morning you will meet your driver at the lobby of your hotel and be taken to the port where you will embark on a cruise of the Aegean. Departure is early afternoon and in the evening you will have reached the island of Mykonos. Dubbed the island of the winds, Mykonos provides an incredible mixture of picturesque scenery and modern, vibrant entertainment options. Since you are arriving in the evening, we recommend to stay near Chora for a first taste of the Mykonian nightlife.

  • Tuesday – Visit Kusadasi & Patmos
    After your morning arrival at the Turkish port of Kusadasi, you will find yourself immersed in history in the Ancient City of Ephesus via an optional shore excursion. Home to the remains of Artemision, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Ephesus is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean. Continuing your journey with a hint of spirituality on the horizon and a chance to see the island of the Patmos, where John the Theologian wrote the Book of Revelations. An optional excursion can provide further insight into the Biblical roots of Patmos with visits to the Monastery, as well as the Grotto of Saint John and the Cave of the Apocalypse.

  • Wednesday – Explore Rhodes
    Next stop on your cruise is the island of Rhodes on the southeast edge of the Aegean. Heavily influenced by the Knights Templar, Rhodes boasts a number of medieval sites that are worth exploring. The optional shore excursion called Medieval tour to the “Acropolis” of Lindos and the Citadel of the Knights is designed to do just that! Learn about the history of the Knights Hospitaller and their comings and goings on the island since the 14th century. Climb up the Acropolis of Lindos, a significant citadel, in which you can still see parts of the Doric Temple of Athena Lindia among other ancient structures.

  • Thursday – Visit Crete (Heraklion) & Santorini
    First port of call today will be in Heraklion and the island of Crete for an optional excursion to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, home of the first European civilization. Starting as Neolithic settlement around 7000 BCE, the area has been a cultural centre for millennia, with estimations saying that the region was home to 100,000 people until 1500 BCE. In the iconic Throne Room, you can still see the well-preserved King’s Chamber. Departure from Crete is at noon and it won’t be long before you reach Santorini, a gem of the Aegean that has been speculated to be the lost continent of Atlantis. You will disembark in the port of Santorini, meet our local collaborator and be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day strolling down picturesque alleys and discover quaint shops and galleries in every corner!

  • Friday & Saturday – Explore Santorini
    The next couple of days will be spent in Santorini, with a vast number of activities available to craft your own schedule. Whether you decide to sail the caldera via catamaran, visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri, swim in the Red Beach or the Black beach –both laid with magnificently coloured volcanic pebbles- or walk the narrow alleys of the iconic village of Oia, one thing is for sure; there is no better conclusion to your day than with a glass of Santorinian wine, watching the golden sunset against the backdrop of the azure Aegean waters. Don't miss out of the local cuisine, with apochti, kopania and fava being among the unique dishes you can find in local tavernas.

  • Sunday – Return to Athens
    Transfer from your hotel to the port of Santorini to catch the boat back to Athens. Upon arrival you will meet your driver who will transfer you to your hotel. Take the remainder of the day to soak in as much of the Athenian culture as you can and pick up some souvenirs for your friends back home.

    After breakfast you will meet your driver at the lobby of your hotel and be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
