Package rate per person in double room during low season 1673

This is an all-encompassing package for travelers wishing to soak up as much of Greece as possible and add to their journey a hint of the orient. With Athens as a starting point, you will experience unique combination of the luxury of a modern metropolis and the historical importance of a great ancient civilization. The meticulously planned half day sightseeing tour will take you to the most prominent ancient monuments in the capital and serve as an appetizer for what's to follow. Your next outing will be an organized 2-day tour of the mainland, with Delphi and Meteora taking center stage. Visit the town in which the most famous oracle of antiquity used to stand, before you move on to the striking scenery of Meteora, where Byzantine monasteries seem suspended in the air, sitting on top of steep cliffs.

Time to see the blue of the Aegean, so board your cruise ship and anchors aweigh! Your 4-night cruise begins in Mykonos, a cosmopolitan island famous for its vivid nightlife as much as it is for the tradition Cycladic windmills sprinkled all over. A short visit to the coast of Turkey is up next. In the bustling town of Kusadasi you will disembark and optionally join a mini excursion to ancient Ephesus. The sites of immense historical importance do not stop there, as your next stop is the awe-inspiring Patmos, where Saint John wrote the Book of Revelations. Continuing on the Dodecanese islands, Rhodes is next. Home of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, today Rhodes is more reminiscent of medieval times, with the many civilizations that have passed through the island creating a unique amalgamation. Afterwards you can relax at the port of Heraklion in Crete. Try the local delicacies but keep in mind that another optional excursion is coming up! This time in the palace of Knossos, a marvel of the Minoan era. Your cruise comes to an end with Santorini, a very romantic place encircled by deep blue waters, beaches with white, red or black volcanic pebbles and sunsets tinted with a unique hue even the most talented of artists would be envious of.
