Begin your summer adventure in the urban setting of Athens, where the ancient world comes alive with an abundance of historical sites including the iconic Acropolis. A half day city tour will expose you to the most prominent Athenian sites, which you shouldn't miss out on. Walk through the Athenian neighborhoods and you are bound to see stylish bars overlooking ancient ruins and deluxe restaurants next to temples from eras long gone. The amalgamation of these two different worlds creates a strangely captivating atmosphere.

As alluring as the Greek capital feels, it is time to leave it behind for a more casual and relaxing setting. In the heart of the Cycladic complex and just a breath away from the cosmopolitan Mykonos, stands Syros, a place where time flows a little differently and the locals are the epitome of philoxenia. Strolling down the streets of Ermoupoli (city of Hermes) this becomes instantly apparent as the unique architectural blend of classicism and Genoese styles lends the town an aroma of the mid-19th century. Two-storey stone houses with wooden floors and cornices opening up to large terraces or balconies dressed with marble facades can be found all over and have given credence to the term Syriot Neoclassical Architecture. A private half day tour of the island will take you to a multitude of destinations, from important Orthodox and Catholic churches and monasteries, to an Opera House, the old town of Ano Syros and even the south coast of the island. After seeing the highlight reel, it is time to explore Syros on your own and create memories that you will cherish forever!
