Take a full day tour of Paros and its smaller, sister island of Antiparos and experience authentic Cycladic culture in the heart of the Aegean complex. With the assistance of a licensed guide, you will explore three different settlements in Paros. First comes the capital Paroikia then the picturesque village of Lefkes and finally the quaint fishing village of Naousa.

Together we will stroll down their cobblestoned alleys, learn and experience Parian history and culture. A very special mention needs to be given to the church of Panagia Ekatontapyliani in Paroikia, one of the oldest standing churches in Greece (circa 400 AD) and an important pilgrimage site. Between village-hopping in Paros we will also take a ferry to the nearby island of Antiparos and explore its main town of Chora and the Venetian fortress which is still inhabited to this day!

Early in the morning, you will be picked up and transported in Paroikia, the capital of Paros, which is situated on a bay on the north-west side of the island. In Paroikia, we will walk to the remains of the medieval castle which lay above the central seafront road. The Frankish Castle was constructed in the 13th century using marble from other sites, such as the ancient temple of Apollo. Nearby we will also find the Orthodox church of Saint Constantine, in the old town which features one of the most scenic spots in Paroikia. After strolling through the quintessentially Cycladic alleys of the town, we will arrive at one of the main attractions of the tour; the Ekatontapyliani Church. Built around 400 AD, Ekatontapyliani is one of the oldest remaining churches in Greece. Its name roughly translates to "The Church of a Hundred Gates" and it is not only a salient architectural and archaeological monument, but also one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in all of Greece.

Afterwards, we will hop on the bus and reach the port of Pounta, were we will board the ferry to Antiparos, the sister island of Paros, just off its coast. We will walk down the picturesque alleys of Chora, the main town and capital of Antiparos and visit the 15th century Venetian fortress which is still inhabited. Some well-earned rest is due and you will have free time to explore local shops, have lunch or even take a swim in the calm waters of the Aegean Sea. Rested and fulfilled, we will bid adieu to Antiparos and hop on the ferry back to Paros.

Our bus will then take use from the port of Pounta to the fishing village of Lefkes, arguably the most picturesque settlement on the island and former capital of Paros. Built amphitheatrically in a cruciform shape, Lefkes stands at an altitude of 250 meters (820 feet), at the heart of the island and is surrounded by small forest areas, olive groves and vineyards. One side of the village is covered by a pine forest which lends an indescribable look and scent in the region. The final stop of our tour will be Naousa, a wonderful fishing village on the north side of the island. Naousa is one of the most popular vacation spots on the island, mainly because of the rocky beach of Kolimpithres which is beloved by locals and tourists alike! We will walk down narrow cobblestoned paths and have ample opportunity to take plenty of pictures.
