A package suitable for those who would like to get their feet wet with the Greek experience while avoiding the hot weather and the swarming crowds. It includes all the must-see experiences for first-time travelers to Greece and can also serve as a stopover for other trips. Establish your base in Athens, a modern cultural metropolis deeply steeped in ancient history. The meticulously planned half day city tour will take you to some of the most important monuments, including the Acropolis Museum. Not to worry though! You will have plenty of leisure time to explore the city on your own and discover its cozy bars, traditional taverns and luxurious restaurants. Your itinerary will take to the 'navel of the ancient world', Delphi via an organized tour. A town with strong ties to antiquity due to the presence of the famous Oracle, whose ruins still stand proudly. A sacred place for ancient Greeks, as they consulted the great Oracle before every major war campaign. This winter, you can get the full Greek experience on a budget! Don't miss out!

  • Day 1: Arrival in Athens
    Upon arrival your private driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take your first day to acquaint yourself with the city, explore cafes, taverns and bars that surround the historic monuments of Athens.

  • Day 2: Athens Half Day Sightseeing tour
    After breakfast our representative will meet you at your hotel or close by, in order to start the morning Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour. A preferred way to see the most prominent sites of Athens in an effective manner, this tour will bring you to the National Gardens, the Academy of Athens, Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Acropolis among many others! The afternoon is at leisure to explore beautiful central neighborhoods like Thissio or Plaka and end a perfect day with some ouzo and Greek meze!

  • Day 3: Athens to Delphi
    Another fulfilling breakfast, this time before we meet you at your hotel or close by, in order to start the Full day tour to Delphi. The stunning view of the valley below might help you realize why this place was held in high regard for its spirituality in Ancient Greece. Visit the Oracle in the Temple of Apollo, where Pythia and her contemporaries would gather whenever important decisions needed to be made. Near the Temple, you will find the Stadium, which hosted the Pythian Games, the Amphitheater, the Treasury of Athenian and many more. Afterwards you will visit the Delphi Museum, whose most prominent exhibited the Charioteer, a perfect example of a Bronze Age statue. Return back to Athens that same evening.

  • Day 4: Explore Athens
    Your penultimate day in Athens is at your disposal to spend as you wish! Do some shopping, taste local delicacies, hike in Pnyx and see the hidden views of the Acropolis. History oozes from every pore of the city so be prepared to bump into tucked away historical sites in every corner. Alternatively, if you want to sneak in some last minute island hopping, you can always book an optional sightseeing tour of the Saronic Gulf islands.

  • Day 5: Departure from Athens
    Time to head back home, hopefully full of memories and a filling breakfast at your hotel. Our representative will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the Athens International Airport to board your flight.
