This package includes an itinerary ideally suited for those looking to discover Greece’s beautiful landscape while immersing themselves in the country's history. Your journey begins in the cosmopolitan capital of Greece which juxtaposes modern urban architecture with monuments from days long past. The half day tour will give you the opportunity to visit the marvel that is Acropolis, an ancient temple perched splendidly above the city. Your exploration continues with an amazing 4 night cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey.

You will begin with Mykonos, an island encompassing the Cycladic spirit with whitewashed houses and windmills. The nightlife alone is a source of attraction for visitors from all round the globe. You will then be transported to Kusadasi, one of Turkey's principle holiday resorts and make an excursion to ancient Ephesus. Then comes Patmos, a place of incredible religious importance due to the years John the Revelator spend on the island. Continuing south, you reach Rhodes, the place of the strong contrasts between medieval monuments and traditional elements and lacy beaches next to pine covered mountains. Next stop is Heraklion, the largest city in Crete, where you can experience the traditional Cretan lifestyle, the indescribable delicacies found only on the island and the warm hospitality of the locals. The final stop of your cruise before returning to Mykonos is Santorni, the most popular island in all of Greece. From its wineries, to the volcanic caldera and the golden sunset, Santorini has a million reasons to become a must-see destination for every traveler. You will then get to spend two whole days in Mykonos exploring the island before you return back to Athens.

  • Saturday – Arrival in Athens
    Upon arrival you will meet our assistant at the airport and afterwards your driver will transfer you to your hotel in Athens. Have the rest of the day at leisure to begin your acquaintance with the city at your own pace. A walk around Plaka is an ideal way to see how the city flawlessly combines the ancient with the contemporary.

  • Sunday – Athens Half Day Sightseeing Tour
    After breakfast you will meet our collaborator at the lobby of your hotel or someplace nearby, to start what has come to be known as the quintessential Athenian experience; the morning half day Athens sightseeing tour. You will get to see the most iconic sights in the city including –among others- the Academy of Athens, the Greek Parliament, Hadrian’s Arch and of course the Acropolis and its modern Museum. A great way to save yourself the hassle of constantly trying to navigate the bustling city for the closest can’t-miss site!

  • Monday - Cruise embarkation & visit Mykonos
    In the morning meet your driver at the lobby of your hotel and have a transfer to the port for cruise embarkation. Cruise departs early in the afternoon for a wonderful trip to the Aegean Sea. Your early evening arrival on Mykonos, will leave plenty of free time to explore the town and get a first impression of its cosmopolitan identity. In Chora, you will find many stylish galleries for shopping, as a well as a multitude of deluxe restaurants.

  • Tuesday - Visit Kusadasi & Patmos
    Morning arrival to the Turkish port of Kusadasi, and a dose of history coming your way with an optional shore excursion to the Ancient City of Ephesus. The city is very well-preserved and the remains of Artemision –one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World- can be found there. Leaving the Turkish coast, you will travel to the Dodecanese and the island of Patmos, a paragon of spirituality. Deeply rooted in the Biblical story, Patmos is famous as the place where John the Theologian wrote the Book of Revelations. You can join an optional excursion and visit the famous for the Monastery of St. John the Theologian, the Grotto of St. John and the Cave of the Apocalypse.

  • Wednesday – Explore Rhodes
    Next stop on your cruise will be the island of Rhodes, boasting a mosaic of different cultures that have left their mark on the island over the course of centuries. Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans have fought for and conquered this land, but the excursion that follows will focus on the medieval history of roads and the period when it was under the rule of the Knights of Saint John.

  • Thursday – Visit Crete (Heraklion) & Santorini
    First port of call today will be Crete for an optional excursion to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, and a chance to see up close its impressive throne room. King Minos himself is speculated to have had his chambers there, and the palace itself has served as the centre of different civilization since the Neolithic era (around 7000 BCE). Depart from Crete at noon for Santorini, an island that truly needs no introduction. There are plenty of optional excursions to choose from, including visiting the Akrotiri Archaeological site or exploring the iconic village of Oia on the North edge of the island.

  • Friday – Disembarkation & Arrival in Paros
    Early in the morning you will disembark from the cruise on the port of Lavrion, where your driver will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to the Athens Airport in order to catch your flight to the island of Paros. Your Aegean adventure is far from over, it just changes mode of transportation! Upon arrival at the Paros airport you will meet our local collaborator and be transferred to your hotel. For the remainder of the day, shed any notions of a schedule and stroll around Cycladic alleys, explore quaint shops and enjoy the sunset with some Parian delicacies and a glass of locally produced wine.

  • Saturday & Sunday – Explore Paros
    You have two days at your leisure to explore Paros in whatever way suits you best. Even though Naoussa and Parikia steal the limelight, Paros has plenty of other traditional villages which are worth visiting, such as the picturesque Lefkes, the nearshore Drios, the charming Alyki and more. If you wish to visit yet another island during your journey around the Aegean, you can take a tour of both Paros and the nearby Antiparos to see how closely related the two are, having existed in a state of symbiosis since time immemorial. However, if you just want to laze on a beach somewhere, nobody can blame you. Paros features many beaches with diverse coastlines for you to choose. From the rugged beauty of the rocky Kolimbithres and Faraggas, to the pebbly coast of Chrisi Akti and even the sandy Santa Maria you can spend a day beach-hopping on the island and never see the same landscape twice!

  • Monday – Arrival in Naxos
    You will be transported to the port of Paros and board the ferry to the nearby island of Naxos, the culmination of your islandic adventure! Our local collaborator will escort you to your hotel and you can hit the ground running with your exploration of Chora, the capital of Naxos. Walk up to the old Venetian Castle, explore the Old Market and find a traditional tavern by the sea, preferably one with a view of the iconic Portara!

  • Tuesday & Wednesday - Explore Naxos
    Being one of the largest islands in the Aegean, Naxos naturally begs to be explored and two days barely feel like enough time to do so! The West and Central sides of the island are laid with traditional villages such as Filoti, Koronida and Mikri Vigla and an excursion to them can be filled with culinary delights! On the South side you can visit the cedar Forest of Alyko, while on the North you will find the Kouros of Dionysus. In any event, Naxos’ many sites are sure to keep your hands full for the next two days!

  • Thursday – Return to Athens
    From your hotel you will be transferred to the port of Naxos and catch the high-speed boat to Athens. There, your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Spend your last day in Athens doing some last minute shopping for the unlucky friends that couldn’t join your adventure!

    After a fulfilling breakfast, pack up your memories, meet your driver at the lobby of your hotel and head to the airport for your flight back home.
