Hi Litsa

I am back in Australia. Arrived on 4 June 2012. Had a great holiday both in Greece and Turkey. The last day in Istanbul was 37degrees celsius, extremely warm and I arrived in Australia to a 10 degree wet and windy night. Since then I have been very sick. Probably the extremes in temperature. Every single day in Greece was nice and warm except my last afternoon in Athens - to my great disappointment. I wanted to take in a last very emotional trip around Athens but the wet weather was too much. That was the 18th of May. However, I am so glad I made the trip to Greece and will always remember all of it including the lovely people I met with a lot of affection. Marios and Patsy were almost like a son and a daughter. So warm and sweet.

As I mentioned earlier I will always recommend you to anybody.

Of all the hotels I stayed in (including Turkey) Athens Gate comes up with flying colours. It was a Home away from Home. The staff there were excellent. I should also say that Galaxy Hotel in Heraklion also was very good. Excellent service. But Athens Gate is No. 1.
