This package features a Biblical journey inspired by the route of St. Paul in ancient Greece, including Corinth, where the apostle spent his days preaching, as well as unique sites of archeological and religious interest. The monasteries in Meteora that seem to be suspended in the air will humble you and a visit to the Cave of Apocalypse on the island of Patmos will put you in the shoes of John the Revelator, one of the most important figures in Christendom. You will have the chance to experience the mainland’s diverse natural environment which gives way to incredible landscape, its traditional villages and vibrant cities. Your journey continues with a cruise around a group of Greek islands, carefully selected in order to experience an abundance of distinct lifestyles to suit all tastes. Sunday – Athens Half Day Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast you will meet our collaborator at the lobby of your hotel or someplace nearby, to start the morning half day Athens sightseeing tour, a staple of every first-time visitor to the Greek capital! This carefully crafted tour includes selected destinations that represent Athens’ historical importance through the ages. Only some of those are the Academy of Athens, Hadrian’s Arch and the Greek Parliament. Of course, no tour of Athens is complete without a visit to the Acropolis and its modern Museum. Enjoy the tried and true way of getting to know Athens.

Monday – Ancient Corinth Tour
This tour will drive you along the scenic coastal roads of the Saronic Gulf for a visit to Corinth and its awe-inspiring canal, where a quick stop for pictures is in order. You will proceed to ancient Corinth, a sacred place and the set of some of St. Paul’s most famous sermons. The remains of the ancient city, which include the Agora (market place) and Apollo's Temple (6th century B.C.) exhibit the richness and importance Corinth had during antiquity.

Tuesday – 3 Day tour to Delphi & Meteora
After breakfast you will meet our collaborator at the lobby of your hotel or someplace nearby to start the 3 day tour to Delphi and Meteora. As you leave Athens in the rear-view mirror, get a first glimpse of the Greek mainland via the scenic route through the fertile plains of Beotia, crossing the towns of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova before arriving in Delphi, the “navel of the world” according to Ancient Greeks. On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer. The afternoon is free to allow you to stroll through the town and explore.

Thursday - Visit Meteora and return to Athens
Today you’ll visit Meteora, a geological marvel of vast, rock pillars rising up from the valley to create a unique spectacle that is a testament to wonders of nature. On top of the pillars, stand Byzantine Monasteries, of immeasurable historical and religious importance. Afterwards, we will make our way back via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae (where a short stop to see Leonidas' Monument across the road is in order) and finally arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Saturday – Kusadasi & Patmos
Morning arrival to the Turkish port of Kusadasi, and an optional shore excursion to the glorious Ancient City of Ephesus is what’s on the schedule. Later in the day you will find yourselves on the island of Patmos, where John the Revelator wrote final book of the Bible. An optional excursion can take you to the famous Monastery and to the Grotto of Saint John, as well as the Cave of the Apocalypse.

Sunday – Crete (Heraklion) & Santorini
First port of call today will be the island of Crete with an optional shore excursion to the Minoan Palace of Knossos, the first European civilization. At noon you will proceed to travel to the world-famous Santorini, the once volcanic island that’s now wrapped around the caldera that remains. We highly recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to explore Santorini by joining one of the many optional excursions available.
